Some more information for you…

Please read the following carefully as there are some changes this year regarding meals (changes underlined).

Meals: We will share all dinners and Sunday breakfast together. You will be asked to help prepare and bring some food for one meal. Everything will be planned and provided for our meals together (food, plates, utensils, pots, stoves, etc.). All drinks, snacks and other meals will be on your own.

What to bring: Whatever you need to camp – tent, sleeping bags, lantern/flashlight, camp chairs, ice chest for your own food and drinks, personal stuff.  You don’t need to bring a stove or any cooking equipment, unless you want to cook in your own breakfast or lunch in your campsite. Also, any games, cards, bikes…whatever will help us have fun!

Activities: We will have campfire times in the evenings and Sunday morning service together. The campground has a pond for swimming and fishing, playground, tetherball, volleyball net, basketball hoop, etc. Burney Falls, Subway Caves and Lassen Park are not far and there are many places to explore in the area. There will be some planned activities that we can share in together. We are looking forward to lots of time to relax, refresh and have fun together!

Non-campers: Want to join us but don’t like to camp? Your welcome to come up for the day. Or, there are hotels in Burney where you can make your own reservations and join in the daytime activities while sleeping in town. (Some of our church family will be doing this option.)

We will share more details a couple of weeks before camp, but please ask us any questions you have.
