Our unity as the family of God is not just for our own benefit; it's one of our greatest testimonies to a watching world. In a fractured and lonely society, a community that journeys together in honesty and humility—loving each other deeply, sacrificially, and consistently—is a powerful signpost to the reality of Jesus. Our love for one another puts the Gospel on display. When we serve each other, forgive each other, and walk through life together with open hearts, we create a compelling picture of the kingdom of God that draws others in. Our family has a mission: to show the world what the love of the Father looks like.

Jesus, may the love within our spiritual family be a brilliant light to the world around us. Help us to love each other so well that others become curious about the God who is the source of our love. Make us a family on mission, known by our love and eager to welcome others in. Amen.

Look for an opportunity today to serve someone in your community in a way that an outsider might see. Let your love be a visible witness. And when opportunity arises, invite them to fellowship at church.
