Carrying Burdens Together

REFLECTION

A family doesn't just celebrate together; they grieve together. Life is filled with seasons of struggle—illness, loss, doubt, and financial hardship. Journeying together through these times requires immense honesty—the courage to admit we're not okay. It also requires the humility to let others in and receive help. God never intended for us to carry these burdens alone. The "law of Christ" is the law of love, and love gets its hands dirty. It shows up. It listens. It helps. Being the family of God means we are willing to step into the messiness of each other's lives, not with judgment, but with compassion and practical support. We learn from Galatians 6:2 that we are called to lift each other up, especially in times of struggle.

PRAYER

Jesus, You carried the ultimate burden for me. Teach me how to carry the burdens of my brothers and sisters. Give me eyes to see their needs and the courage to step in and help, even when it's uncomfortable. Make me a safe place for the hurting. Amen.

TODAY'S STEP

Pay attention. Is someone around you going through a hard time? Ask them, "How can I practically support you this week?" Then, follow through.
