Day 1 - God Shakes what Cannot last

God’s covenant love remains steady even in seasons of shaking. He is refining us, not destroying us. God refines what is unstable so His presence can fill what remains.

What is God refining in me right now?

Day 2 - return with your whole heart

Readings:

Repentance is turning from sin and returning to a relationship with God. He desires honesty, humility, and wholehearted surrender to him.

What does a wholehearted return to God look like for me?

Day 3 - remove the hindrances

Readings:

Obstacles such as living according to the flesh and sin patterns must be removed so we can receive greater freedom in Christ. Freedom requires repentance and surrender.

What am I holding onto that is hindering God’s work in me?

day 4 - receive a new heart

God cleanses, renews, and transforms from the inside out. True worship is not just songs that we sing. It is a life of submission to God and his will for us, which is to make us like him, holy.  


Reflection:

Where do I need to welcome the Holy Spirit’s renewing work and receive his cleansing, and holiness?

day 5 - loose the chains

True repentance changes how we treat others. We see the fruit of repentance in our inner peace with God, but also outwards in our desire for justice, mercy, and reconciliation with others and among others.

Where is God inviting me to show mercy, forgive, reconcile, or pursue justice?
